Cocoa Development Consulting (CDC) is now accredited by Ivory Coast’s Vocational Training Development Fund (FDFP).

Following a favorable decision by its Standing Committee at its June 23, 2026 meeting, the FDFP granted CDC authorization to deliver training and research initiatives funded by the Fund. This marks an important milestone for a consulting firm whose mission is to develop talent across the entire cocoa industry value chain.

Four Accredited Training Areas

The accreditation covers the following areas:

• Management, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship

• Multidisciplinary Industrial Production

• Multidisciplinary Trade and Management

• Multidisciplinary Transportation and Logistics

  
  

What This Means for Companies and Their Teams

Companies in Ivory Coast that contribute to the FDFP can now use their training entitlements to fund CDC programs in these four areas.

For employees, this provides an additional opportunity to develop their skills without placing direct training costs on their employers beyond their regular FDFP contributions.

This accreditation complements CDC’s recognized expertise in technical cocoa professions—from production to industrial processing—and strengthens its ability to provide long-term support to stakeholders across the value chain, including industrial companies, cooperatives, and artisan chocolatiers.
